Title:
GOEPEL electronic braces for large attendance at Boundary Scan Days
On March 17 and 18, 2009, GOEPEL electronic GmbH will host the 8th
annual Boundary Scan Days® in Jena, Germany. After an attendance of more
than 120 in last year’s event, the company is preparing for a large
number of participants again in 2009. One of the main topics will be
GOEPEL’s revolutionary VarioTAP® emulation technology and examples of
its application.
The theme of the event is “New Possibilities with IP based JTAG/Boundary
Scan Instrumentation”. Both users and developers will contribute
equally. Delegates of companies from defence, industrial electronics,
test and measurement, aviation, automotive, medical engineering, and
communication electronics markets will report on case studies,
applications, troubleshooting practices and elaborate on their
experiences and the benefits of JTAG/Boundary Scan to fellow users and
interested parties.
The launch of new products by GOEPEL electronic is not the primary
purpose of the event. However, discussions of recent innovations,
industry trends and the support of new standards always play a crucial
role in the proceedings.
“As an access mechanism for testing, programming, emulation, and
verification JTAG/Boundary Scan technology has dramatically gained
importance within the last few years,” says Jan Heiber, Application
Manager at GOEPEL electronic. “Our customers have really seen the
benefits with reduced test costs, application throughout the entire
product life cycle, integration in modern ATE systems and improved
efficiency.”
As the leading technology event of its kind, GOEPEL electronic’s
Boundary Scan Days® has become a platform for the exchange of knowledge
and experience and for discussion of ideas and future applications
related to JTAG / Boundary Scan.
Interested parties are invited to register for the event by contacting
