Palo Alto, CA, March 23, 2010 − Averna, test solution leader for optics
technologies, today announced that Sumitomo Electric Device Innovations,
USA Inc (SEDU) has selected Proligent® Analytics to streamline its
product design and testing operations for optical components such as XFP
transceivers, which will help improve their time-to-market.
Based in San Jose, California, SEDU plans to use Proligent Analytics’
powerful OLAP technology, intelligent filters, standardized Web-based
reports and user-defined decision dashboards to fine-tune their product
designs and to shorten their testing cycle. Analytics reports like CPK
Analysis, 2D Scatter, Yields, and Defects Pareto can help SEDU increase
the speed at which they release their products to the market.
Due to Analytics’ advanced data-gathering and navigation capabilities,
it will provide SEDU with faster and easier analysis, assisting their
engineers at every stage of the design lifecycle. Analytics will allow
SEDU to quickly interpret their test results and provide solutions to
their manufacturing group, which will streamline final testing and put
SEDU’s products into production faster than before.
